I am incredibly tired of the idea that gay (or trans or otherwise not-reproducing people) are evolutionarily useless to humanity. We, along with orcas and elephants, literally evolved the menopause because we need people in society who aren't pumping out babies but fulfil other social functions.

Pet peeve: when I have a subscription for regular orders of a product and my order is delayed because the product is out of stock... Almost every subscription cycle!

Yeeterus update: was back in A&E on Tuesday, finally got seen 1am Wednesday morning by which time the bleeding had stopped, again.
Surgeon says there's no sign of anything *wrong*, it's just granulation of the healing tissue that's intermittently bleeding.

No real change, slight abdominal discomfort (but come on, we're working with a body that measures in comparison to period pain, I could be dying and not notice)

When I was still undercover as a woman, I'd show prospective mates my biggest and most exotic "silicone sculpture". If that didn't intimidate them, they were worth keeping around.

Swabs of my incisions and underarm lump came back as "nothing to be concerned about". Swelling under the arm is going down so I've been told to stay on the Doxycycline "as instructed", which I'm understanding as every 12 hours until the lump is gone, then every 24 for the remaining acne.

Skin situation is improving, energy situation is not, which is probably a blessing because despite wanting to do the chores I'm finding everything is above my lift limit 😭

New meds on Monday as clarithromycin didn't do anything. They've now got me on high dose Doxycycline and I woke up this morning with slightly smaller lumps, so hopefully it'll continue improving.
