New to this sky place, here for romancelandia. I got into romance when I was looking for examples of desire and sexiness for non-binary people, esp fat afab enbies with men. Still haven’t found a lot of that, but found a love for the genre. Fave authors are Weatherspoon, Dade, Hibbert and Milan
So of course I have that song Bad Things on repeat after ep 6 of Heated Rivalry, and I love how it kind of sounds like a church organ, like Shane and Ilya are getting married 🥺 Currently reading book 5 on the way to 6, and delaying a full rewatch of S1 for some reason

I’m listening to the Heated Rivalry audiobook, and I’m so distracted by the narrator’s American accent when it’s set in Canada. And why did he give Hollander’s parents southern accents when his mom grew up in Montreal?!? (Haven’t heard about his dad’s origin yet.) So weird!

I just finished re-listening to Hello Stranger, and goodness I hope Lisa Kleypas starts publishing new books again. I may not love every hero or storyline but goodness they’re so much fun to read and so well-written.

The game Shakira and Harry co-won tonight has me thinking maybe they are a good match if Harry can treat her well. I loved that he said he prized her intelligence. I was pretty skeptical before but I’m starting to see #loveislanduk

I’ve caught up on #loveislanduk and I still love Shakira. I still think DeJon is a misogynist. But I’m wondering if maybe Harry isn’t. Maybe he’s just very clueless and thoughtless and has impulse control issues. He seems genuinely upset to discover the harm he caused the Shakira

I think I’m done with #loveislandusa. Olandria still talking about Taylor, Nico’s jealousy of Elan trying with Cierra when Nic has done much worse, ugh. I love Amaya but no man currently in the villa seems appropriate for her. I don’t think I can watch much more

In last night’s ep, I was starting to lose hope for Nicolandria but then Nic said to Sierra, “you’re the girl for…. And Taylor’s the guy for her.” He couldn’t bring himself to finish the thought. Then he worshipped Olandria’s feet in the challenge. Hope springs eternal! 😂#loveislandusa

Did you notice how Nic said the reason he picked Cierra was because he didn’t get a chance to say a proper goodbye? And he told Olandria that Cierra was on his mind but nothing about not feeling it. I’m still shipping Nicolandria and hoping their time will come #loveislandusa

I haven’t finished watching tonight’s episode of #loveisland but I am really loving Nicolandria. I think she’s uncertain but I don’t remember seeing this kind of energy from Nic towards Cierra. He’s got it bad for Olandria and I love to see that

I haven’t watched the Tues ep yet but I saw a clip on tiktok of Jamie deciding to meet her alt match, and a commenter asked why that’s different than Paul’s explanation. BC she was talking about her nosiness from the get-go and double-checked to make sure it didn’t say date #mafsaustralia
