Just watched 'The American Society of Magical Negroes.' Had its moments, but overall felt like a mediocre Wattpad story. The plot holes were a real drag. Honestly, don't think it's worth your time.

A pivotal moment in history: the Battle of Achelous (917) saw a Bulgarian victory and the capture of Adrianople. Sadly, Constantine Lips, the founder of the future Molla Fenari Isa Mosque's site, was among those who fell in this battle.

The Monastery of Constantine Lips has a history intertwined with major events! Its founder, the Byzantine admiral Constantine Lips, tragically died at the Battle of Achelous in 917, where Bulgarians also captured Adrianople.

This photograph was taken where one of Istanbul’s busiest coastal roads now runs — right at the entrance of the Eurasia Tunnel. The mosque in the image is Küçük Ayasofya originally built as a church during the Byzantine era (St. Sergius and St. Bacchus Church). Old city walls, the sultan's railway.
