The original film also had a small budget. Sanders said that the original film was more like a "dumbo for this generation" type of deal so I would argue that Lilo and Stitch (2025) is the same thing to an extent.

It's not me complaining, but the policy for that specific screening time being Kid Friendly wasn't well explained, I'll try to book midday screenings during the school year or later screenings at night the next time I go there so I don't have to raise more order cards about the same issue.

I was slightly disappointed that my theater didn't enforce their stricter "no disruption" policy during the screening (the only reason why I go there apart from it being local), but the manager was extremely helpful with my situation after I raised an order card about the issue.

In the original film, we didn't know a whole lot about David (possibly a last minute addition by Sanders to advance the plot), but him and is grandmother are apparently neighbors now 👀

Bubbles is properly part of the CIA now, there was a running gag about that in the original film, but the change was officially being hired (and being a spy at first) by the CIA and more of a "let me find out everything without saying what I'm really doing here"

Tia Carrere shocked me. I was sort of aware of a new CPS agent, but the performance was more of a "gentle, but serious" approach which works really well here (according to the lore, you could argue she was the lead investigator on the case until they were replaced by Bubbles, speaking of...)
