Essentially can only throw 3 pokeballs per try instead of like however many I have with me without the legendary fainting it's such a nerf to catching legendaries I fear

Oh forgot to mention my team whoops, I tried to only use pokemon who could mega evolve so I used Meganium, Beedrill, Gardevoir (the early purchase gift), Houndoom, Hawlucha, and of course Starmie ✨️

Thats about it tho! Would I recommend? Yeah I mean I guess so, it has its grievances (more than I can usually find in a pokemon game, personally speaking) but in the end I did enjoy it quite a bit! B tier game ✨️ not bad but not my favorite

I also "encountered" one shiny (other than the scripted mareep) but it was judt the noise and I couldn't find it for the life of me cuz I was on a rooftop and I never found out what it was </3 unlucky I suppose (this is the first modern game where I haven't found at least 1 shiny during the story!)

Oh yeah one last thing my sense of direction is so bad and the city all looks the same I got lost so easily I was looking at the minimap more than the actual game when I was walking places more often than not 😭😭

Last but not least, almost all the new megas were either cute, cool, awesome or funny. I never thought I'd use Starmie but dear lord its mega is the funniest thing pokemon has ever done I unironicslly love it to pieces its so funny to me

And character designs were awesome as always too! I would say characters were great too as per usual and they all were except for Taunie lmaoooo
