I honestly don’t see myself going to the movies more regularly. It’s so much better to watch at home.

The snacks cost $63 and the tickets $50. Then, the seats were stupidly uncomfortable. On top of that, the people next to us and in front of us could not stay off their phones (screens on full brightness). I could have overlooked pricing and uncomfortable seats if I didn’t have to deal with assholes.

Oof, yeah, I don’t doubt it. Here in Alberta we’ve got a bit (well, a bit more than a bit, really) of a wingnut for a premier, but there are lots of good people here, too, so I try to hold onto some hope. We’re kind of a laughing stock right now, but some of us want to change that and be better.

We’re lucky that domestic flights in Canada aren’t too bad, at least not from Calgary to Vancouver (Calgary to Toronto is quite expensive!). Our cat and rabbit are going to be babysat by their grandma. Toronto is lovely if you haven’t been before. Lots to see!

I picked up anointed vip for Vancouver. From what I understand you get an email with instructions on where and how to pick up your wristband earlier in the day so that when you come back you have special entry and access to see the relics, then early entry to the pit before the rest of GA.
