As a Canadian I am APPALLED that all I see is American politicians wringing their hands and saying, "Oh, this is so bad, we should do something!" and then do NOTHING. Yes, VERY true. I just retired from teaching and the last few PD Days were all about how *we* were going to implement AI, primarily ChatGPT in the classroom. I had my principal tell me that I should let my visual art students to use Dall-e for their assignments...He didn't see why I was against it

It was until I adopted a cat (Tommie) who had a thing for cardboard and started to gnaw on it. Over the course of 4 months, he destroyed two sides of it until the top caved in. I tried to give Charlie (The potato cat) a new box, but he is still upset that his cardboard hidey-hole is gone.
