Not according to an AP article from 5 hours ago, which says "Republicans voted together to advance his nomination, while Democrats all opposed." Trump literally threw a Tantrum on his social saying they're stalling on purpose.

They're trying to stall the nominees right now. And they did block a sanction bill. Some of the more moderate Republicans need to stop bowing down and help. I have paid attention since Clinton, as I'm only 41, I've seen changes. But we still have too many older moderate voters to pacify.

The problem is, with Republicans holding all the cards, Democrats can't do much. We can't even impeach the man. And now that Musk owns the treasury, we're good and rightly fucked.

I'm well aware. But this coup that was the 2024 election proves we have no say. I hate to admit it, but we may have to honestly consider alternative forms of rebellion. Protests and voting doesn't seem to work.

He also can't pardon himself for the Hush Money. Presidents can only pardon Federal charges. He's stuck with these 34 convictions unless he gets a judge to overturn, and New York isn't going to.

Neither is lack of qualifications.

The problem is Republicans don't care that he's not qualified. They only care that he bends the knee.
