It's not that complicated. Focus less on how he is being portrayed, and more on what he is doing and why his detractors want him gone.

If it is pre-AI, but also he wouldn't change it post-AI, seems like the metaphor accidentally applies, or perhaps targets the same thing that is the fundamental core of our anxiety related to the new tech

This is a good thing, but imo 0% due to MTG customer feedback. 100% due to threats from Capcom's lawyers.

This is how I run my Mayael deck: one set of 'bad but fun' creatures like Drakkuseth, one set of 'good but meanies' like Eldrazi. I let opponents pick one, the other or they can shuffle em together and go random. Makes for a fun little game show in the Rule 0 :)

This is why we cube

I wonder how modding affects these stats, since they disable achievements. I have 100+ hours in Fallout 4, but almost no chievos because I installed an automatic value per weight calculator UI mod the first time I ran out of inventory space and had to decide what to keep

Unsporting or not, it's just bad strategy
October 26, 2025 at 3:21 PM
For the obvious reason of course, because the whole point of the crossover is to recycle existing assets with as little effort as possible

Not trying to discount your experience, but I have never personally encountered this when playing with newbies. They all seem to intuitively understand that mono colored decks shouldn't contain multi colored cards, in Commander
October 21, 2025 at 11:10 PM
I agree there are quirks, but that doesn't really address the question of why one is more intuitive than the other, especially for a "new" player
October 21, 2025 at 10:46 PM
I have no concept of what it feels like to be a new player, but why would it be intuitive for there to be a legal target for Combust or Execute in the 99 of my "mono green" deck?

Yeah, the racial angle of Frieren's demons is hard to square if they're meant to be anything other than a metaphor for our CEO's/politicians/serial killers

Gee, sure does seem like someone had noticed how popular cubes are these days

If you go back and read the full thread carefully, someday you'll realize how foolish this statement makes you look. Wish you the best

At this point, your continued bad faith engagement suggests this is what you want. Sorry to everyone for feeding
September 14, 2025 at 6:24 PM
Then you shouldn't be surprised and have no reason to complain.

It's not a question of "allowed", but if your aim is to persuade people, then I would choose words that are likely to achieve that goal. Know Your Audience is the most basic of basic writing principles
September 14, 2025 at 4:52 PM
It's incredible that you, an allegedly professional writer, would fail to account for how your choice of words would be perceived by your audience
September 14, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Yes, there is nuance, but much of it seems to be different ways in which the UB-ness of it exacerbates the already complicated reality of shipping a magic set.

Because not enough people buy them

My understanding is that Sigil has been all but shuttered. They recently reversed course on their monetization plans for it and seemed to have scrapped all future feature development
