Friday, August 8th marks the second anniversary of the date that #7Eves entered development, meaning it's also Hazel & Liv's birthday!!

QRP with the oldest and newest art of your OC!

When 7Eves entered development, the idea was to hone a simpler style that would be quicker and easier to draw than my usual fare. Ultimately, that's still true... But I also just rapidly improved in a short span of time.

And Hazel's come a looong way.

Subject is a very early draft of my original character Hazel Woods, from my webcomic, 7Eves. Hazel has large eyes, a slim nose and rosy cheeks. In the leftmost image, she looks somewhat unsettled and nervous. The second image shows her looking more smug and smarmy, her brow furrowed as she sports a wide smirk. This is the first example of the character having "a reflection with a mind of its own", the initial concept from which 7Eves was built upon. A more recent, much cleaner line art drawing of Hazel, looking more like herself thanks to her up-to-date design. Her eyes are brighter, her face is slimmer, her cheeks are rosier, and she now wears hoop earrings. She wears her top beneath an open hooded jacket, which is splayed out behind her on the ground. She reclines comfortably, looking off to her left with an open expression, as if looking towards someone and expecting them to speak.
