I don't think i will ever forget this day, and I hope that this will never happen again. I would talk more but I don't want to make it about me, when people have had it WAY worse. with that said, Nunca olvidaré esta DANA.

basically nothing, and the worst is, most people affected were ELDERS. It just hurts my heart that people have and still are suffering from this, with barely any help. I still remember seeing live news about it, with people stuck in their houses and SCREAMING for food and water.

and this is just one of the main things i've had to deal with, and mind you. this is just in the CITY, the only area that wasn't destroyed. I can't even imagine having to live like that but 50x, with roaches and rats roaming around while you don't even have electricity, no DOORS

because no trash collectors could come to the city, having to see more bugs than usual, people ROBBING stores, people HOARDING food like its the fucking apocalypse, and having to starve myself because my mom couldnt even buy milk at the supermarket because most shelves were empty.

even right now while talking about this im trying not to cry, as just talking about it reminds me of the aftermath i've had to live with, which was extremely heartbreaking. You don't know how much it hurts to have to go outside, covering your nose or even wearing a mask because it reeks of trash

-than me, and I would not have been able to even get to the areas without breaking down and crying, considering how much this disaster has unironically affected and traumatized me despite me not being in person. I guess some people get affected in different levels.

I have massive respects for my friends, that actually got their asses out and went to the affected towns to help clean out mud, help distribute water and food, and even had the courage to help find dead bodies, i'm upset I wasn't able to help, but at the same time, they have a stronger mindset

I feel like I can talk about this disaster as much as i have to, to be vocal, but also to share a bit of my experiences with it, because even if I don't live in the zone zeros of the disaster, I'm still part of the affected place. Towns were affected, the main city was slightly

I don't want to get extremely into detail but I find it incredibly disgusting that even a year after, most if not all affected towns still live in awful conditions, and I want to shred some light into the aftermath of disasters when the goverment doesn't take them seriously

I'm honestly incredibly lucky that the floods didn't reach my area 😞 And i'm extremely sorry for all the affected familys and towns that are STILL dealing with the devastation
