at some point, like Monday, you are going to need to accept something like Ron Johnson bill to pay some people working without pay even though it is far from perfect.
If trump wont pay or only pays whatever or if speaker little trump refuses, then it is shifted back to them.

Basically Johnson is defrauding all taxpayers by shutting down congress when congress is not shutdown and collecting salaries. Congress can do little for constituents at home with most agencies are shutdown, so they are on vacation.

Seriously though, I have heard these promises from "mayoral" candidates before and after winning not much changes because these are things you just can't wave a wand to do.
