A year ago, Simba trusted no one. Now, he sits on the patio and peacefully watches people go by... And sits on my feet after his lesson 😂

Halfway thru her 4 week board and train, Harley is doing great! Her prior trainer needed two weeks and $4k to teach her sit.

In 2 weeks, I've got her doing touch, focus, spot, loose leash heel, leave it, stay, recall...

Not all dog trainers are created equal. Some of us even... train dogs. Wild.

Meet Harley. Her prior trainer charged her owners $4k for 2 weeks board and train, and she came home with no training beyond 'just shock her, she'll come back'. I'm FURIOUS.

Owners were ready to surrender her. I cut them a hell of a deal. I have 28 days to get this kid trained.

Let's do this s**t.

People often tell me they held back on giving out my info because they didn't know if I'd take the job, so I made everyone a handy flow chart so you can determine if I will or won't take that job ;)
A flow chart. The first question is 'are they a dog?' and if yes, Quinn will train that dog. If no, Quinn only trains dogs. Surrounding the 'yes' box are a bunch of hesitations people have about whether or not I'm interested in helping them, all pointing back to yes, I will train that dog.

It's always such a treat when Rivet gets to make a new friend. She and Sirius have been playing through kennels and fences for a while, and it felt like time to let them play face to face. Huge win for them both, to have a friend who can match their energy and play style!
An Airedale Terrier and a Malinois-cross are roughhousing together. The Airedale has his front leg over the Malinois-cross' neck and head, like a big brother playfully putting his little sister in a headlock to mess up her hair.

Another snowbird, taking flight! Peaches and I have had so much fun these past few weeks, and now it's time for her family to head to Arizona for the winter. They have a lot of new skills to practice, and we've all promised to keep in touch until we see each other again in spring.

Who couldn't love a dog so young with eyes this wise? Mr. Sirius came for a little stay, and we had a blast hanging out together. 💜
Sirius is a large breed puppy, tan and black with curly fur and perfect triangle ears. His nose is a shiny black, and his deep brown eyes are looking up to the camera. He has a gentle, thoughtful look on his face.

Ta-da! My first articulated 3D print, I couldn't be more proud. They came out pretty darn good, if I say so myself, and some went to new homes today, haha.

Hello again, Radio! This smoosh was in a group class I taught a while back, and now he's got a baby sister who needs some help with building her confidence. She was feeling too camera shy to let me snap a pic of her, so you get to look upon Radio's big sweet face instead.

Lookie who had her first lesson! Among other things, Kiki learned how to go to her kennel by herself, a big accomplishment given that she has a negative association with kenneling... And also learned the value of "NO". Ripping up her owners' ankles and arms stops **now**.

Hello, Kiki! This little cutie has a mean streak to her. She's been terrorizing her owners and they're fed up. Excessive barking, biting, and a whole lot of bullying. We're going to nip this in the bud before she gets older and it becomes habit, so she can have a happy and healthy life ahead of her!

Got home to find this friend in my fountain! Poor thing isn't a great swimmer, so I grabbed a stick and hauled them out. Little while later, went out and they were resting on my ground cover, drying off.

Little dude is officially one week post-op! We got the call, his biopsy came back early. I am very, VERY happy to say that this guy dodged a massive bullet: his mass was a benign hematoma. I'm still in shock, there was such a tiny chance, and he made it.

Indy and Marshall got their monthly grooming today, and they are blowing coat big time. Holy shed! 😂
