I think it’s probably because they’re both still very powerful men, and while no good came of them working together, no good is likely to come from them fighting, just a different type of bad

Also having direct knowledge of a language helps with understanding jokes and idioms (especially as a westerner wanting to communicate with East Asian tonal languages)

The either/or dichotomy isn’t helpful either- like I think well regulated capitalism is a more efficient system for things like cars and computers, but not so much for healthcare. Does that make me a liberal or a leftist?

To be fair, technically the price increases could be more accurately described as a federal sales tax than economic inflation, since most of us won’t see a commensurate increase in wages (insert “wait that’s worse” meme here)

It’s also ridiculously lazy - there are so many great starter packs and feeds and filters here, they should take a little initiative to curate their account content instead of yelling at other people to post differently

My teens have been amused by some of the tales of geospatial bugs and oddities, like the woes of folks at the geographic center of a state as a result of IP address locator issues, or the lore of Null island. Entertaining and promotes data literacy!
