Texas needs an AG who can meet the present moment – with strength, independence, and a genuine commitment to serve this state.

I’m running to be Texas’s next Attorney General — to serve and put Texans first.

What, exactly, are we celebrating tomorrow?

Our cutting off healthcare to the needy to enrich the greedy?

Our new concentration camps?

Our dying economy?

Our ditching due process?

Our corruption?

Our broken legislature?

Our corrupt SCOTUS?

Our ridiculous buffoon president? #FourthOfJuly

The at home assassination of a state lawmaker should be getting a bigger reaction from the President than someone throwing a rock at a Tesla dealership.

They murdered top Democrats in their homes 5 days ago and the president and corporate media could not care less.

What did you accomplish last week?

1. Gave grace to a kid who used Chat GPT to write his essay.
2. Stayed late so absent kids could make up work.
3. Finished a book.
4. Contacted my state representative to thank her for standing up for teachers and public education.
5. Planned a trip to Vegas.

The Stonewall Riots happened because trans people, particularly of color, rose up against state violence. You can’t even begin to tell the story without our trans ancestors and elders. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/13/n...

The “T” was removed in references to L.G.B.T.Q.+ on the official site for the Greenwich Village monument, which marks a milestone in the fight for gay rights.

School vouchers and Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) were sold as school choice, saving kids from "failing" schools or "following the student."

In reality, this ESA bill is about none of these. It's just a redistribution of wealth and subsidies for private schools. #TXLege #TxED

Numbers don’t lie — and neither does a budget estimate.

School choice? No. According to an estimate from the Texas Legislative Budget Board, 95% of students who would take ESAs/vouchers are already in private schools or being homeschooled. #TXLege #TxED

If you ever need a reminder that good can be found in this ridiculous world, go check out a theater production at your local public high school.

Texas has lost a true champion in Cecile Richards.

For nearly half a century, she fought and defended the rights of Texas women and, by extension, of all of us. Always striving to uphold their voices and dignity.

Richards, the eldest daughter of Gov. Ann Richards, forged her own path as a tireless advocate for women across Texas and the United States.
