This weekend, revisited NYT roasted cauliflower gratin with tomatoes & goat cheese. It was as 💋 as I remembered. (Bonus: it scratches my lasagna itch in a healthy way.)

Took advantage of the nice weather today (64°!) to wash the dirt, sap, etc off my baby before covering indefinitely, waiting for that transmission part.

So … I got a new-to-me car this week: 2013 Mini Cooper 6-speed.
Because I can't afford $40/day indefinite rental while waiting for the NATIONAL BACKORDER part needed to fix the transmission on my otherwise lovely 2010 Kia Forte Koup 5-speed (with new brakes).

So … I got a new-to-me car this week: 2013 Mini Cooper 6-speed.
Because I can't afford $40/day indefinite rental while waiting for the NATIONAL BACKORDER part needed to fix the transmission on my otherwise lovely 2010 Kia Forte Koup 5-speed (with new brakes).

I was today years old when I roasted Brussels in a cast iron skillet. Why have I not done this before?!?
ALMOST got that restaurant crisp. And super-easy cleanup since I tossed them with oil & seasoning right in the skillet.
