It is about time to plant sunflowers. So many varieties of these now - some grow only 20" tall and some 12' tall -- something for your window box, yard, or field. They attract ladybugs and repel communists. Plant some this week!

I happened to be in Crosstown last year when this was happening. Fascinating to see. If you are a Mario fan, then don't miss it. Lots of fun for the kids too.

Runner friends the weather forecast for our 5k and 10K on Saturday is just about perfect, probably the best we have ever had. It is a beautiful run route and the afterparty with real bathroom, cold beer, hot food, massage chairs, and more really sets this race apart. raceroster.com/events/2025/...
