I’m a Bluenoser in Toronto doing what I can to breathe clean air, encourage good government and raise smart, healthy, empathetic kids. #Covidconscious
Congratulations, and thank you for modelling care by masking in public.

It’s going to be exponentially more expensive to treat those suffering from acute Covid, Long Covid, or other downstream effects of repeated infection, than it would be to pay for vaccines and the public health messaging needed to convince people to get them (and use other protective layers).

His tunnel would:
▶️Cost $50–$100 billion
▶️That's $9000-$18000 per Ontario Household
▶️Add just 1 lane each way
▶️Snarl traffic for 10+ years with construction

Have you read “There are Rivers in the Sky” by Elif Shafak? A wonderful book that would be an excellent chaser for “Between Two Rivers”.

How engaged City Councillors are (or are not..) with constituents’ deputations at committee meetings.

Occasionally, some who attend virtually appear to be zoning out or having conversations off-screen while nobodys like me are making a pitch for investments to improve indoor air quality.

I played pickle ball for the first time this weekend. Had fun and wore my 3M Aura.

May I ask why only one of this group of colleagues is wearing a respirator during an ongoing airborne pandemic? Are there mitigations in this space that aren’t visible in the photos?
