I might try starting Vando instead of Rui. Gets defense in the starting unit and offense off the bench. Which, of course, is why starting Smart has been discussed. I just feel better about him in a reserve role, or at least reserve minutes. Solid move, happy they got him.

I don’t think you start Smart as long as Rui remains on the team. His play has slipped last couple of years, don’t think he’s worthy of starter role at this point. Good addition as long as they get his role right.
