Feature not bug. This advances their interests. Consolidation of power, wealth.

Fascinating, huh. That seems like a remarkably narrow range for the medians across many of these markets. One wonders about the distributions behind those medians.

I wonder what the distributions look like between countries for % of income spent on housing.

This past year my young daughters (a five-year old and 2-year- old twins) really got in to your music and their dancing and singing brought them and me so much joy. As an amateur musician myself, one of my biggest hopes is that I can help foster in them a lifelong love of music. Thank you, Raffi.

Was that not a satire post?

Hey I have a small (seven gallon) rimless tank I got from Aquarium Zen I'm not using anymore. Let me know if this fish thing goes somewhere and you end up wanting another tank. :)

I like this but I'm doing the math here and $200M/900k people on SNAP is $222 which seems plausible as an average monthly benefit. Are you sure the $200M is annual and not monthly?

I'd totally forgotten about this song. I'm gonna go learn it and play it for my kids now. :) Thank you!

Gen X and the elder millennials in the US had grandparents who fought Nazis. I (1983) grew up with that personal connection to the history. I guess I hadn’t considered that the generations after me don’t have that.

Yeah why entice voters with a clear vision of they'll get for $54B when you can entice them with the thrill of [checks notes] whatever is left after decades of bureaucracy and legal challenges?

Presuming they could even find cops who would follow such orders (lol), this administration would just federalize those departments and this Court would let them. No, that’s not a serious real-world plan.

It me. And when we needed to take a break from playing music we’d retire to the gaming room for a few rounds of Goldeneye. License to Kill, pistols, as the gods intended.

I’m curious if you think the left needs to frame more along fear and grievance? It seems like except for some non-mainstream messengers, the left has generally ceded these unfortunate but powerful dark arts to the right.

Is an underlying reason for this that big donors feel youth on the left are all too far left thus a risk to empower? Probably also decades of taking the youth vote for granted, I’d guess.
