How long do you think before a "Ben Shortpiro" successor makes an appearance?

They don't care about rules, they don't care about the justice system, they don't care about your constitution.

He's been prosecuted, he's been impeached, he's been declared an actual felon by most of the sane world, yet your system still lets him get elected again. It doesn't work.

It's probably people realizing that it's only gonna get more expensive if they hold off.

I'm not getting it because I'm broke.

Wasn't this like six months ago at least?

That specific bit was an urban legend, but you are correct that you do assassinate at least one person in there during the story.

It's literally the first major target. You assassinate him either in broad daylight, or kill him in the confessional.

And most of the time either you or the NPC Vikings burn down the monasteries.

Honestly, Rupees. Mostly from Zelda, also present (for some reason) in Super Paper Mario.

But what happens the next time someone of their ilk gets elected? Or the time after that?

The US system encourages corruption. Until there is massive electoral reform, nobody is ever going to trust them fully.

And finally one of the core mechanics for gathering wealth and resources in AC Valhalla was raiding English Monasteries and Churches and burning them down.

You also get an achievement specifically for doing this.

In AC Unity your first Assassination target is in the Parisian Notre Dame Cathedral, while a service is happening, and you are actively rewarded with an extra cinematic kill if you desecrate a confessional. In AC Syndicate you throw a target out of a window in St. Paul's Cathedral.

Like, the most commonly brought up example is the multiple times you infiltrate the Vatican in AC2 and Brotherhood, leaving a number of Papal guards in your wake, and in AC2 specifically you fistfight the Pope in the Vatican basement while he's still wearing his Papal robes.
March 22, 2025 at 2:59 PM
But it's actually worse in previous games, since I don't think there's anything actually encouraging you to destroy shrines in Shadows. You can do it if you really want to, but there aren't any objectives making you do it and you don't get anything for doing it.
March 22, 2025 at 2:57 PM
In the game files that last part is literally referred to as the 'pope choke'.
March 22, 2025 at 2:54 PM
You fistfight the Pope in the Vatican in AC2, and the literal previous game had you raiding and burning English monasteries and churches as a Viking.

Doing a Paraglider-less and limited hover bike run (only to get the Gliding Suit and get to Hyrule Castle), I think I am currently at ~200 Korok Seeds.

Please, if Republicans had any actual proof of this, they'd be projecting onto the side of the fucking empire state building.

Can someone translate to English? I don't speak 'willfully illiterate'.

Modern Sonic has mostly just been reusing old poses (Sonic Generation, Team Sonic Racing), doing generic action/Hero poses (Sonic 06, Sonic Forces) or doing general "movement" poses.

Poilievre's only draw was 'not being Trudeau', but is otherwise fairly unpopular because of his general social conservatism.

With Trudeau on the out, and both of his successors being more liked by the general voter-base, Pierre's popularity is going to quickly drop.

For the most part it's still fringe. Social conservatism in general is pretty abnormal here from my experience, though fiscal conservatism is fairly common in a few sizable demographics.

Why was I blocked? I swear it was just a joke about bullet drop.

Big talk for someone who has to compensate for gravity.
