Greenlanders can take an example from Norway. The Norwegian sovereign wealth fund, fueled by oil profits, holds about $300k per citizen. And there are only 56k Greenlanders. They don't need the US and the US can't buy them - they are already multimillionaires, a couple of decisions away.

I'm just hoping that Trump's annexation of Greenland and Panama is just a lesson and a bargaining chip for negotiation with Putin about Ukraine - if Putin "needs" parts of Ukraine, US "needs" stuff too.

Donald Trump just announced his intention to annex Greenland. If it's not clear by now why we need United States of Europe and a strong European army, it should be clear now. Either that or we'll be taken piece by piece, like a salami, a little bit from the East, a little bit from the West.
