It's a safety issue. Pedestrians can't tell if a car that backed in is about to leave. A car that pulls in forward to a parking space has reverse lights to warn pedestrians. That being said, something needs to change for situations like this.

omg yes. The trick, imo, is to (1) find someone approx your weight or so, (2) not step right on the spine, but one the muscles around it. So good for sore muscles! And a lot cheaper than going to get a massage lol
