3 million immigrant deportations under Obama; 551k under Trump first term; 271k in Biden's fiscal 2024. Immigration courts are severely understaffed with approx. 3.7 million pending cases. Trump has fired at dozens of experienced judges, and replacing those judges can take over a year.
