Their gifts are a 'blind date with a book'. Ordered a couple of basic starters from Etsy. They pick out a surprise book in the genre of your choice. They come with like a book mark, hot chocolate, stickers, a pen, etc. I am adding a couple extras like socks, mug, etc to make a gift box. Sounded fun.

I hope it works out! I decided to do creative things this year. Just more cost effective.

Then i blind grabbed a tea bag and a chocolate for each day and put them into these cute little advent gingerbread houses. So, they get a different flavor tea to try each day and a little bit of chocolate.

I found the lump on Daphne's chin that grew to the size of a baseball in less than 3 days and ultimately was the reason we lost her on my birthday. She was almost 16 and would not have survived a surgery.

Thank you. I wish i could believe that. Please excuse the pity party as there are much worse things in the world....my birthday always feels like an afterthought for my family. Its the only one in the 2nd half the year and mostly gets forgotten.
