My HS is the Indians and the chorus of the fight song is chanting “Scalp ‘em Indians! Scalp’em!” The drill team and twirlers wears headdresses. White kid in war paint is the Indian spirit and dances on the field. They just won the state championship in football.

There hasn’t been a tipping point in volume yet. And until Bluesky has better data connections, you won’t see big brands adopt it. So it needs more folks and tech maturity. Until then, it won’t replace X for most.

I can only speak from what I’m hearing from brands and there’s a move to just remove the Twitter logo from websites rather than update it to X. But that doesn’t mean folks are going to abandon it right away. Social for brands is in a really weird place right now.

My job is social listening for a big brand. We had the top trending twt topics on our big display wall in our command center for years. We pulled it off this month bc it was no longer helpful.
