As much as I dislike how expensive the vet is, I do enjoy listening to the vets in the back coo over how cute my animals are. Boba is being a brave boy this morning so he got a pup cup.

Chipping away at a commission, trying to get the background right before finishing the people in the foreground. Attempting a new technique where I overlay the colors over light and shadow layers and it works - so far it is definitely too bright.

So a couple months ago I had a preying mantis crawl on my while I was doing yardwork and refused to get off - ending up on my head. I don't normally see them at all so it really stuck with me and now this darling has started hanging out on near my front door. I'm wondering if it's the same one.

My dad's b-day was on Mother's Day this year so parents got joint gifts. I found 100% Kona coffee (never seen it before) and knew it is supposed to be amazing. So they got that and some fancy chocolate liqueurs to go with. 💖

A robin decided that the lights in my carport were the perfect spot for a nest. I'm surprised they finally managed to get the stuff to stay up there.
