As someone who’s worked extensively in multicultural marketing strategy, this move by Target is WILD. They’ve long been seen as a leader in inclusive brand practices, and this signifies like a major shift that could have big implications beyond just their internal management.
🚨 Today Target said it will end its three-year DEI goals, stop reports to external diversity-focused groups like the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index and end a program focused on carrying more products from Black- or minority-owned businesses.
