looking at the track record (complimentary) of john brown's children, the message isn't that different!

my pet theory is that spectator sports are a way for kids (and adults) to practice big emotions so they learn how to handle them without doing whatever that is
it's fun to care about sports! an 8 (or 78) year old SHOULD cry when their team loses! then move on.. and then care again the next game!

i hate this one the most. first, it just sounds ugly, but deeper, people use it to just mean "information"!!!! not the holy process that went into the actual learning(s) or teaching(s) of that information

$400 chicken bone, $600 lesson in why they don't make pet food bowls out of ceramic (and a lesson about the jaw strength of cats... he straight-up bit off a chunk of the plate)
he also pushed the neighbor's cat into that pool... twice

realized when i was playing with my kid (stuff like "i hope no one tries to tackle me!") that that part, though entertaining for everyone, has to have been specifically designed for the 5-10 year old cohort. pull something like that at storytime and the whole library is hootin and hollerin

was on fillmore on saturday afternoon, and there was a 22 every 3 minutes (both directions). i assumed it was just busses getting bunched up, but then it just kept happening, so yeah, maybe they just run that well now?

ooh, do you have one of those mirrors that go on the back seats so you can see them? i'm always shocked at how much they end up being able to see out the front even in that little rectangle.

ok, but going to berkeley bowl with a toddler and going "broccoli or cauliflower this week? ok what color cauliflower?" is kind of a fun way to shop
