Chairs are more expensive than tables! I learned that the first time I needed to buy kitchen chairs but not a table. And needing 1 chair per person means you can end up needing a lot of chairs.

I've had inservice days that didn't start until 9am, and it was great! This year the first inservice day starts at 7:45 am. I am distraught.

Awww. It's noon and I'm only now getting up, lol. Mostly because I woke up at 3am for no reason, rambled to my husband about historical fashion for several hours, then went back to sleep. (He's on a different sleep schedule then me, so he's always awake at 3am)

I really like the remind app! The students tend to like it too because it sends your messages as texts to their phones. You can schedule reminders in advance to make sure you don't forget to send them!

I'm trying something new this year! I made a google sites "newsletter" and I'm going to email it out to parents through google classroom. Some of my students have already accepted their google classroom invites and started commenting on the introduction post!

This is how I passed pchem. I used to sit outside the professor's office with my homework and ask him questions every time I got stuck. I never passed a single test, but he gave me a passing grade in the class. I'm convinced it was 90% pity.
