Supply CANT be up without more land to produce that supply though right? And what about the insane cost of the machines needed to plant, tend and harvest. Unless you are a mega farm it is very difficult to “buy in bulk” to lower costs on a hypothetical yield in an climate that is shifting.

I think it is the focus for many people. We have been screaming about the insane profits being made off our backs to enrich the few for quite some time. But people aren’t hearing it because they think business people somehow will choose to spread the wealth, against all historical evidence.

Not many…yet. But I would think twice about it if it went up too far. I didn’t realize demand could go up because the people processing it were paid more? Thinking through this. So, if I pay people sub minimum wage, more people will want this substandard wage, so we will produce more?

Ok, so less than my teens earned at menial jobs. The price of lettuce then goes up. I thought everyone wanted cheaper groceries with their current rate of income. Not increased prices with “potential” increase of sub minimum wage income?
