I have a feeling his next fundraiser will be action against the prison service (which will never happen).

All he's had done is a loss of canteen for breaking some prison rule.

He also isn't in solitary he has requested rule 45 for his own safety...he could always ask to go on to a normal wing....

I think it's more the fact that these people were younger and hark back to the days without health concerns etc it will always look better reminiscing.

Reform arent the answer they just attract the poorly educated and the racists who blame everyone but themselves for failure.
February 17, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Well just stop oil got jailed for something similar... I don't expect these guys will though, don't Farage and co have a phrase for this? "Two tier policing?" I'm guessing he won't be saying much though as he's to busy cosplaying as a farmer decked out in Barbour.

One of the speakers at the rally today was saying "Churchill would be turning in his grave about this".... They had to pay estate duty under Churchill! which was replaced by inheritance tax in 1980s They've had an exemption for 30 years

Although I'm not sure of Churchill's relevance to it....
February 10, 2025 at 8:03 PM
I hope your right either way the other two need to up there game. I personally feel the media over the years has demonised parts of society and blamed them for multiple issues, the problem is populism works and it has 3 stages promise everything, deliver nothing then blame someone else (see Brexit)
February 10, 2025 at 3:26 PM
I've even seen them quoting "legal" bollocks about "freemen" (what ever one of those is) not legally requiring to pay council tax... Probably the same legal geniuses (without GCSEs) who were using the Magna Carta as a legal document during COVID.

Sad thing is some will and face financial ruin.
February 10, 2025 at 1:08 PM
the voters reform rely on aren't interested in things like the two child benefit cap, thanks to years of demonisation by the press, same with free school meals, they worry more about inheritance tax or VAT on private schools when most of them are closer to the other end of society.

If he was in general population his supporters would be moaning the prison service are against him as they are now he's in solitary.

The Prison Service has a duty of care towards prisoners and Tommy due to his views would be a target in any prison so he needs separating, he is not a victim.

Is there no fact checking whatsoever on these articles? Twice in the last few weeks the Torygraph have run these sort of articles, one was a man who was board level at Mercedes the other is someone with a teacher's pension.
January 13, 2025 at 9:21 AM
Twitter is unbearable my feed is full of right wing misinformation constantly from Musk,Farage, Lowe, Grimes and the barman who is an expert on everything.

I wish blue sky would pick up a bit more though.
January 11, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Well rumours are is that the reform candidate for the London Mayoral elections will be Ant Middleton..... It really attracts a certain kind doesn't it?
January 11, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Same in the UK a lot of the population in general are artifical Christians, they don't go to church unless it's a wedding or a funeral (then wonder why churches close) and go against a lot of what Jesus taught.

I'm an Atheist but respect peoples views just not ones based on other motives
January 11, 2025 at 1:27 AM
2/2

None of these issues effect 99% of the population but are pushed like the world is coming to an end by the media.
January 11, 2025 at 1:18 AM
That sort of programming has happened in the UK for a while but recently the examples of it are

1) Private School VAT pushed by the press as limiting ambition.

2) Inheritance Tax - described robbery by the government if you have to pay this tax you are very fortunate.

3) "Poor" Farmers as above
January 11, 2025 at 1:15 AM
Agree go of the beaten track and a lot of America is very very poor.

It's a very strange country don't think anywhere else is quite like it .
January 9, 2025 at 11:27 PM
I can't keep up with this, the only one out of the 5 MPs reform have who could actually lead them is Farage and I know hes full of shit but does Musk not realise he is the main reason reform got 5 MPs I couldn't see Lowe,30p, Tice or the woman beater having the same popularity as Farage.
January 5, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Ive asked people what benefit leaving the EU is to them however I've never had a proper answer.

They seem to trot out the same bollocks about taking back control or sovereignty etc.

They also claim it "hasn't been done right" which is also bollocks .
January 5, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Always found it amazing that despite certain right wing figures alleged concern for abuse....

They were also the ones crying about the Queen when she passed and didn't mention the hush money used, never mention Prince Andrew, love Donald Trump and defend the Tate's.
January 5, 2025 at 7:43 PM
Could go either way, they have no fit senior centre back, I hope Cunha has a field day.
December 29, 2024 at 12:59 PM
I don't quite know why we still allow the trail hunting which is a mask for fox hunting. We all know what the real intention is, if this "sport" was done by people off council estates rather than multi millionaires it would receive a lot more criticism from the media.

It's barbaric.
December 29, 2024 at 12:58 PM
Similar to my inlaws both retired late 50s despite working very average private sector jobs(one isn't of state pension age yet) over 100k in savings due to inheritance, mortgage free for over 15 years, yet still feel they deserve the WFA despite using it for Xmas expenses not heating last year.
December 17, 2024 at 4:14 PM
surely men could claim inequality about having to work longer for less?

It's similar to the blanket winter fuel argument (although I think the threshold should be higher) it's difficult to sympathize with a blanket payment to a group solely on age when many working age people are struggling.
December 17, 2024 at 4:00 PM
Jesus is quite popular on death row....a lot of people who discover Jesus aren't particularly nice individuals lts all a big sham when you've fucked up so badly in life there's nothing left to turn to.
December 12, 2024 at 9:21 PM
Agreed and I was in a clinical role for the NHS for 5 years whilst the NHS has a lot of things which should be fixed but privatisation will never be the answer.
December 9, 2024 at 3:34 PM
The NHS does have its problems.

You may access better health care in the US however 99% won't be able to afford it.

The likes of Farage will be convincing people who cannot afford it that its better for them similar to the melt down around private schools and Inheritance tax most aren't affected.
