Pierre Poilevre claims Mark Carney’s doctoral thesis was plagiarized. Oxford says no, that’s not the case, this is how dissertations are written. Who to believe? Maybe PP should write a doctoral thesis himself and figure out how it is done, then come back and weigh in.

I am excited to show you these three books. I’m holding them up, but each of them is the work of many minds and hands. Each was co-edited with one or more excellent colleagues and has articles by many excellent scholars. It is great to see them out in the big, wide academic world at #sblaar2024

Incredibly good session on children’s Bibles this afternoon at the Children in the Bible session. There was interactive activities with Rob James, video of Superbook with Heidi Berman, including a lot of good laughs, solid exploration of what is a children’s Bible with RK Wilkowski, #sblaar2024

Our two dogs. Hunter the German Shepherd lived with us from 2007 to July 2020. He came from Golden Valley Humane Society. Emerald, a German Shepherd mix, started to live with us in November 2020. Her Mom came from Pine Ridge, South Dakota and she was born at Faerie Land rescue in Minnesota.

At a personal level, I really love my dog Emerald and basically all dogs. Emerald was born in Minnesota, but her parents were from Pine Ridge, South Dakota. She now enjoys the ocean life in British Columbia.
