I’m not missing the point. It’s not that simple. Boasberg has started contempt proceedings. Sup ct ruling on immunity doesnt speak to contempt of court and the decision suggests a president who defies a court order is acting outside his constitutional role and not subject to immunity.

Well, according to Marbury v Madison, that power rests with the courts. I would think it would not be as simple as legislatively stripping the courts of the power to enforce its orders. I hope I am wrong. I am a lawyer but not a Constitutional expert. Any scholars on here have an opinion?
