maybe one day i'll do a bunch of research on the topic and try to post a blog post or video essay on the topic

It looks like there are some academic programs on the topic but they seem siloed. Labor history at Berkeley, Industrial Heritage at Michigan Tech, some MBA stuff.

Most of what i see out there are the purview of labor writers, industrial museums, company histories, etc. I was hoping there would be more of a robust and peer reviewed body of literature, not just breathless recitations of the same 3 narratives of the industrial revolution

I find Industrial History very interesting, and was hoping to find more literature in general regarding the industrial principles of Eli Whitney, Taylorism, Fordism, Matsushita Leadership, and Toyota Production System, as well as organizational, informational, and quality technologies like GD&T
