Played around with the 2022 General Social Survey this afternoon exploring correlates of lack of trust in institutions (thanks to ARDA!). Here is confidence in the business community by generation and social class. Look at the change in "hardly any".

Just finished this excellent sociological work by @jessicacalarco.bsky.social. It documents the precarity of modern families, especially women, and how our refusal to build a compassionate social safety net damages our society. Look for more reactions on my SubStack next Wednesday.
