Governing is never easy...anywhere.

He couldn't get elected warden in a minimum security prison with a handful of pardons.

Ask National Oilwell Varco how their Russian business expansion into Russia turned out.

They'd better tone down their over-the-top support of minimum-impact, minimum-constituency far-left activities if they want to win. And stay off of it if they wish to stay relevant.

Trump has only one agenda: himself, in these "peace" negotiations. He craves a Nobel Peace Prize above all else at this time and will help or screw anyone in his attempt to get one.

If I've told them once, I've told them a gazillion times, don't exaggerate.

Trump derangement is in his head, not ours.

Well, it is necessary to coordinate their mutual response.

Like his Great Leader, you can't tell him anything. It's called the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

He's still deplorable; he always has been, regardless of what anyone says to the contrary.

Sounds like their strategy is working.

Ah yes, Army life.
December 25, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Sooner or later, everyone feels the "thump-thump" of the Trump bus.

The Wrong Person answered this in the negative.

Sounds good, but getting a new amendment through Congress today would be impossible. State Legislatures same problem. The other alternative, a Constitutional Convention, would open doors from which even Pandora would flee in panic.
December 23, 2025 at 1:43 PM
Sort of an empty threat. Been there, done that...twice...and the Senate was the real problem. Probably still would be.
I think the best strategy is to oust the GOP wherever and wait. It can't be much longer before he breaks his old, tired neck stretching to look at his name on all the buildings.
December 23, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Be careful what you ask for. This would be abused by the same forces that elected Trump twice. The solution is in the Constitution. The failure to require integrity in Congressional candidates and Presidential appointments made the Trump takeover of the GOP possible.

There's only one law in gumbo: It's all about the roux, and the roux is a "practised" skill.

The problem with exploiting conspiracy theorists and cultists is that one has to constantly digress further and further from the truth to perpetuate the $$-train.
December 22, 2025 at 12:16 PM
Which, I would surmise, carries at least the same level of biased reporting in the other direction. Truth and Irony died on Jan. 8, 2016.
December 22, 2025 at 12:05 PM
Sounds great, but isn't a second mortgage required to buy brisket these days?
December 22, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Hmmm? I wonder if "will air in a future broadcast" is the media news organization equivalent of Trump's standard, "people are saying" justification?
