Do 'boundary road' junctions with minor roads get safer when minor roads are filtered (i.e. closed to through-traffic)?

We tested this using police-reported casualty data (2012–24) from 113 London Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) introduced between 2015–24.

The interesting exception in the MRP is South Wales.

Why are Labour projected to hang on better in former mining communities in the Valleys than those in England?

Well, because the combined RW (esp Tory) vote is already much higher in the latter. Compare Rother Valley with Merthyr and Aberdare.
