Trump WAS impeached. He wasn't convicted. McConnell and the Senate Republicans refused to let Democrats call witnesses at Trump's 2nd impeachment trial. It resulted in Trump not being convicted. The witnesses would have been damning. So yes, Mitch is a villain.
