New discovery: A #Roman wooden water pipe has been found during works on Brussels Street in Leuven.
At a depth of about 4 meters, archaeologists found the wooden water pipe running the entire length of the construction pit, totaling 20 to 30 meters.

The sarcophagus of Arnegunde, wife of the merovingian king Clotaire I (511-561) was discovered in the Basilica of Saint-Denis in 1959. A ring found on the skeleton's thumb bears the inscription ARNEGUNDIS, encircling a central monogram expanding to REGINE (queen). 🧵1/2

A cult building in Rendlesham? Not unlike the one found in Vasse, which was also interpreted as a possible temple or feasting hall.
