A rainscreen over sheathing/water resistive barrier is pretty standard good practice residential construction. The point is that if there is an air gap the moisture doesn’t get trapped in there and the cavity can dry, which is much more reliable than hoping moisture never gets in

My hope/wishful thinking is that Trump's juice has to be worth several % toward public opinion and voter turnout, and without it the remaining collection of cranks and losers won't be able to win another meaningful election until they are replaced by people who at least try to appear normal.
