Today we went to the (marvellous) Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and among many things learnt about the extraordinary Baltic Way protest of August 1989. Not sure how that one passed me by until now.

Three highlights from the Oude Kerk: some conservation in action (always a highlight for me); a peace table (I like small quirky exhibits in churches); and the most explicit mention of and research into slavery connections I've found in Delft (it has been rather absent).
