Agree. I live in a wonderful neighborhood. We all go out and attack together. We have beautiful open fields behind our house where our dog and I would much prefer to walk, but can't now. I am thrilled to report that I can walk over a mile within the neighborhood on well-shoveled sidewalks.

Two years ago we de-decorated ours in early January and the space was so dark and gloomy that we put it back up and redecorate for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Easter. By then the days are longer and bright. And we have solar panels so we're not really worried about the electric usage.

It was like a vast snow field. Even had snow-covered hills on the horizon.

My husband was active AF for 30+ years. We moved many times, 3x overseas, and moving our cats and dogs was always our first priority (non-stop flights)--sorry kids, but we knew you were OK with us. We are so glad we are retired and not having to deal with this crap. So sorry for those who are.

One neighbor had a Trump Flag that was at least 6'x6' with an Israeli flag. Around Memorial Day all 3 flags came down and were replaced with an American flag. We thought maybe it was temporary for the holiday but the American Flag stayed and the Israeli flag was eventually back up. There's hope.
