Sanded down one of the bones, and Void, it's all coming together now!! Will tackle the second one tomorrow after work, also planning to get 1mm foam for their base, since, believe it or not, 2mm foam is too thick. Also, do I carve or paint the runes on that top thingy? Quite unsure...

Bone charm's almost done, bones need to fully dry, then be sanded, shortened, details added; details missing on the not-bone part on top.
Rune needed *a lot* of sanding, didn't pay attention to the edges on my thousand references, had to fix it after sculpting

While the last part of the rune is drying I'm passing time with the bone charms from Dishonored.
Big big thank you to @voidkeeper.ukr.monster for providing a high quality 3D model and the textures, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to make out any details (like the runes!) 🩶 On to crafting them

Very, very unmotivated and tired at work. Mentally working on the rune... Or like, the whole cosplay. I already know I won't be able to continue with it once I'm home, I'll probably just go back to bed again 😔

So, I met this guy last night-

Started with the base for the rune; it's 20cm high, referencing pictures of Emily holding one (hands being similar in size). Traced the basic shape from an in-game screenshot to be as accurate as possible (Dishonored/KoD), the sketch is free to use (credit is appreciated), if anyone needs it :)

After some debating and also consulting my mum, I decided against washing the fabric beforehand, since it's a wool mixture and a coat fabric that technically shouldn't really be washed like regular clothes.
Anyway, IT IS SO PRETTY and absolutely worth the money I spent on it 🥹

Gold trim arrived faster than expected, and I even got an extra 2,5m of it <3 Planning to finish Dishonored 2 again today, once that's out of my system I can go back and... Work on my Dishonored cosplay (because the rats in my brain told me so)

I honestly don't really know how to use Bluesky, I barely used Twitter, I hate what Instagram has turned into, but have some Corvo Attano progress to start things off.
