This was a load of fun to write, J.P. Martinez is just non-stop interesting: Meet the Giants’ Renaissance man who brings ‘1,000-foot view’ to pitching staff www.sfchronicle.com/sports/giant... via @sfchronicle
Meet the Giants’ Renaissance man who brings ‘1,000-foot view’ to pitching staff
New pitching coach J.P. Martinez might be the most interesting man in San Francisco Giants camp this spring.

With respect, this is a grave misreading of Trump. He is a man who may care more what people think of him than any U.S. president ever. It is why he never apologizes; why he never admits fault or regrets; why he is a serial adulterer; why he attacks journalists and judges.

He is _governed_ by this.
💯 There is not-caring-about-what-people-think-about-you (and thus not letting that hold you back) and then there is *pathological* not-caring-about-what-people-think-about-you. The president seems firmly in the latter category. And it has the potential to hold everyone back.

👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽Peep this 🔥🧵! She’s putting y’all on game
Ok, I'm doing a version of this thread for 🧪 who are new to political conditions where info security is a safety issue:

1. Don't make public lists of people who are engaging in acts of resistance
2. Be weary of calls to advertise acts of subversion
3. Don't live post resistance meetings
This is my “daughter of a Black Panther breakfast program volunteer” coming out but anyone who tells you that you have to be public about all your resistance activity should immediately be under suspicion for being an op, or being under the influence of an op

Malcolm X was assassinated 60 yrs ago today. See his timeless wisdom on the true meaning of “progress.”

“If you stick a knife 9 inches in & take it out 6—that’s not progress. Progress is healing the wound. They wont even admit the knife is there.”
