I brought wonderful books from #NCTE24, met some amazing authors and missed others 😭...now as I'm reading them during breakfast, my 3 year old keeps tells me to 1) read them aloud to him 2) keep reading! If you know, I maybe stop to eat? Loving this book by David Bowles and Charlene Bowles

This is my 2nd year at #NCTE24 Last year I was lost, finding my place-this year I was able to learn more about others' work, meet amazing Latine elders and reconnect with mentors who paved the way for me to not just imagine being here but to be here. Truly inspired to get involved because of them
