Ok, I saw Elio last night and.. it’s great! Trying to determine why it’s not doing well at the box office has me spinning.. is it streaming? Or as this article from the BBC suggests.. are audiences too distracted? Dumbing down stories because people can’t stop scrolling doesn’t sound like an option.

I’ve found that no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop taking on new projects that I find interesting and I think it’s my greatest weakness.
