One of the reasons I want to talk about this is because the state turned red. And we saw it coming as higher education became a lower and lower priority, the system caved to the will of Republican legislators and business-minded administrators. It’s bad for democracy and for the people of the state

I have never posted much on any social media but I think I’d like to send notes into this universe about the destruction of much of higher education in Pennsylvania and about the efforts of a handful of women to make sure immigrants have access to successful and great higher ed.
