Super Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles has a really inconsistent design, sometimes having a spiked muzzle, or having green eyes. What was the final design that was intended for Super Sonic without the issue of time constraints?

After recently discovering rare concept art for the Sega Saturn release of Knuckles' Chaotix, we have decided to alter the designs of Mighty and Ray as we think this is what SEGA would've done. It will take exactly 8 months to fully alter the already complete sprites.
