Finally found the edge case for AOC day 6 part 2 that's not handled correctly by my code.
Depiction of the advent of code day 6 ASCII symbols used in the puzzle. It's a room depicting a guard (represented as >), boxes (the # symbol), floor (the . symbol) and the path the guard has already traversed (the X symbol). The guard is stuck in a 2 square infinite loop.
